MLM LEHMANN Dial Lock Type 57

The MLM LEHMANN Dial Lock Type 57 is a mechanical combination lock designed for furniture, lockers and personal storage compartments. It belongs to the Dial Lock (DL) product family comprising Types 57 to 61: Dial Lock 57 FIX (DL57) / Dial Lock 58 FIX (DL58) / Dial Lock 59 FREE (DL59) / Dial Lock 60 FIX (DL60) / Dial Lock 61 FREE (DL61).
These locks are particularly suitable for:

• personal lockers,


• office pedestals,


• mobile pedestals,


• wardrobes,


• employee lockers

in offices (desk sharing), universities, libraries, fitness centres, etc.

Features:

• 4-digit combination (10,000 possible combinations)


• Scramble function – after every opening or closing operation, the dials automatically move to a random position so that the preset code is no longer visible.


• 1. The lock is open.


• 2. The user sets a personal 4-digit code.


• 3. The code is stored when the lock is closed.


• 4. The same code is entered to unlock the lock.


• 5. After turning the knob, all dials automatically move to a random position (Scramble function).

"FIX" or "FREE"?

The Fixed Code version (FIX) allows the user to set a personal code that remains permanently stored until it is changed. No key is required for everyday operation.
The MLM LEHMANN Dial Lock 57 is a Fixed Code version.

If the combination lock should automatically reset after every use and be ready for the next user, a Free Code version (FREE) should be selected. The corresponding alternative to the DL Type 57 is the DL Type 59.

".01" or ".02" or ".03" or ".04" or ".06" or ".07" or ".08"?

Depending on the intended application, the DIAL LOCK 57 is available in several versions:

• Type 57.01 FIX → Combination lock for cam lock / tambour door lock


• Type 57.02 FIX → Combination lock for central locking systems


• Type 57.03 FIX → Combination lock with deadbolt


• Type 57.04 FIX → Combination latch lock


• Type 57.06 FIX → Combination lock for sliding doors


• Type 57.07 FIX → Combination lock for vertical rod locking systems / filing cabinets


• Type 57.08 FIX → Combination lock for espagnolette locking systems

"[A]" or "[B]"?

Besides the application, the door material thickness is important. The DIAL LOCK Type 57 is available in the following versions:

• [A] → Sheet steel 0.8–3.5mm & wood 16–18mm


• [B] → Glass 3.6–18.1mm & wood 18.1–21mm

"ls" OR "rs" OR "lad" OR "kl"?

Dial Locks of the Type 57–61 product family are available in different locking directions (rotation directions):

• (ls) → left-hand lock


• (rs) → right-hand lock


• (lad) → vertical application (locking movement upwards – drawer)


• (kl) → top drawer application (locking movement downwards)

"Z0001"?

Emergency opening of these combination locks is carried out using an emergency key. The key system number is therefore important. The installation number cannot be identified from the number printed on the lock itself.

Possible installation numbers for MLM DIAL LOCKS include "Z0001", "Z0002", etc., as well as "AA 01", "AA 02", etc.

MLM Dial Locks Type 57, Type 58 and Type 59 are available in the following finishes:
