HUWIL shooting bar locks type 292 for the VCS18 locking system are mechanical furniture locks designed to operate shooting bars. They are used to secure furniture and cabinet doors where multiple locking points need to be operated by a single lock.

The HUWIL shooting bar lock type 292 is designed for the VCS18 furniture locking system. Three versions are available in our range:

rs: Version for right-hand applications.
ls: Version for left-hand applications.
lad: Additional version for the specified installation arrangement. Please refer to the technical specifications of the individual product.

The HUWIL VCS18 locking system

VCS18 is a HUWIL furniture locking system with a nominal cylinder core diameter of 18mm. When selecting a suitable shooting bar lock, compatibility with the intended cylinder core system must be taken into account.

An identical cylinder core diameter does not automatically mean that cylinder cores from different locking systems are interchangeable. Before ordering, check the compatibility of the lock with the intended cylinder core.

Lock handing and installation

When selecting a HUWIL shooting bar lock, the intended application, installation position and existing shooting bars are particularly important.

The rs and ls versions are intended for different door handing configurations. For the lad version, please refer to the technical specifications of the individual product.

Shooting bars, guides and connecting components must also be compatible with the selected lock type. When replacing an existing lock, compare its configuration with the technical product specifications.
